I love this. It’s so perfect, somehow.

I like how Google talks to us.

I also like the way the checkout machine talks to me, and I like to answer back: when it says “Thank you for shopping at Fred Meyer” I always say “No problem” or “You’re welcome!”. Makes me feel friendlier in general.

My daughter does this with the ATM… oh and the self service checkout in Boots and Tesco… then again… my daughter’s barmy….
