A bilby is a marsupial, looks like a cross between a rat and bandicoot, lives in the desert and brings our Easter eggs.

We experienced Easter in Australia many years ago and Hannah, who was six at the time, thought the Easter Bunny sent all her easter eggs from England to the Easter Bilby so that she wouldn’t be left out.  Oh the wonder of childhood.
