Dave is also one of my childhood nicknames.  Seems appropriate since my name is the feminine form of David.  My high school sweetheart started calling me Dave back in the day.  In fact, he still does.

Oh sweet Lord this makes me excited to be seeing Them Crooked Vultures in December.  This news is wasted on my friends who have neither thought nor inclination to the talents of Dave Grohl and I am left alone in my excitement.  The ONLY person who gets how excited I am about this gig is my daughter… and that’s because she has the same passion as I for him and his talent.  I have two tickets… and it certainly isn’t the typical “Mother and Daugter” gig but we are super excited.
