Remember when I used to take shirtless pictures all the time? How come nobody asks me to go back to that?

Strange coincidence. I came late to the whole JA/JL thing, which was actually kind of nice. It was a different way of looking at something. Starting at the end and going backwards. Sometimes jumping ahead to the beginning, or going back to the middle. It slowly started fascinating me.

But the really interesting tidbit I picked up? Reggie Watts is Jakob’s current roommate. Reggie used to come into the small independent video store I helped run with his then roommate, Rebecca, who is one of my oldest friends. He was her first roommate when she moved here to Seattle.

He went on to form Maktub, one of my favorite Seattle bands. And his bass guitarist, Kevin, met another good friend of mine, Kara, and they eventually married.

Crazy small world. I love it.

But after all that is said and done, I’m totally jonesing for a new Lodwick Lip Dub. Something about the fearlessness of this one, inspires me.
