Here's an idea...

suitep:

actually go into the tumblrs of a few of the favorites you follow, instead of hanging in the dashboard. It’s a nice change of pace, and a sometimes much more interesting, focused approach.

I have to agree… so much can be missed when just reading the dashboard…
